Due to the Covid-19 situation, this year’s general assembly was delayed from March to June. It was held digitally on Zoom due to continued virus restrictions. Luckily it was well attended, including members not living in Oslo.
To kick off the assembly our president Marius explained the club’s current situation, which can be roughly summed up as tentatively optimistic. This is mainly due to government support as well as contributions from our members.
An election was held. Marius was reelected president, Gorm and Kent were elected as board members. The executive committee consists of Helgi, Mathias, Tore and Heming. These seven manage the day to day operations of the club. In addition, Sigve was reelected as our accountant and the election committee consists of Georg, Trond and Einar.
“This is a good team to lead the club through challenging times” says Marius and adds: “I thank Trond, Åsmund and Ivar for their contributions to the club. I have to add that Trond has been an instrumental force in raising the club’s operations to the level it stands on today. I am deeply grateful and I’m happy to see that he decided to join the election committee.”
